A method of being notified if a prize has been won would be a great way for those that want to “set and forget” funds in the pool. It could potentially stop people from thinking short-term, checking each day and initially being disappointed.

Prize Notifications exist on Telegram, Discord and Push

I don't see this being something we add to the app any time soon. While it is a very useful feature, it doesn't quite align with the protocol vs product discussions we've been having and the direction app.pooltogether.com is going.

There are some external, centralized tools that the community have built (Pooly on Discord, Wins tracker bot on Telegram) to help with this situation. And hopefully PoolTogether integrations (Wallets, DeFi aggregators) will support notifications. But building a decentralized push notification service into the current dapp is a big undertaking.

Dylan DesRosier: I miss the little Confetti animation when i used to win with dai back in the day... Just had to log in and that would instantly notify me, the current way its setup you have to go and claim and the animation box is usually buggy, barely any dopamine hits when claiming on v4 :( lol
